Integration into DIB

This section describes biefly on how you can integrate and move data from outside systems into the DIB environment

REST

DIB is using REST interface internally to communicate between the different servers. The same is possible from outside system to call into DIB through the available REST interfaces. There is a list of available REST interfaces which are continously expanded.

Watcher

The watcher is a functionality where it is possible to share files with DIB and where the Watcher functionality of DIB can activate a program (we name them recepies) on what DIB shall do when it see new or updated files. These receipies can be written by clients themselves or by the DIB-team upon request. By default DIB comes with a number of receipies which are configurable.
